Great time-filler but most of the staff team does not actually interact with the users via this forum. Many have been online within the past 24 hours. Yet some have not surpassed the 10 posts mark. I am a little confused by this. I have also acknowledged the same fact that the forum is ( in lieu of a better word) useless until a true game: released or great progress: achieved. Instead I was battered by a few users proclaiming I should excuse myself from the forum for such accusations . Anyhow, back on topic. How am I supposed to ask people questions if all they do is look at a page and get off. I can understand time is limited and there might not be enough time for lengthy posts. But it is like asking an anonymous person behind a cover what their favorite color is. The answer gives you insight to the person but does not make a difference since do you not actually know them. Do not get me wrong, I would be interested to know that Ari plays tennis or Minche likes long walks on the beach because these are common sobriquet whose content I read from everyday. If I learn xNarutox likes these things, that's great but I have never seen him once post and inturn is useless information if I can not tie it with the essence beyond the name. I'll be honest, I'd like to know more about these people beyond their "administrator" titles. I would like to know backgrounds and interesting facts about every staff member. One of the problems I have is I do not actually know who the staff team is actually comprised of. My suggestion is instead of having users (like me) who do not actually know who the staff team is made of asking questions, have the staff team give us a little insight into their lives. I do not ask for anything too personal or beyond their personal comfort zone. I simply ask for a short paragraph portraying the character behind their masks. Let the "crab" users pitch questions at that point.

I think you use a lot of words to explain exactly the reasoning behind our initial plan to introduce the staff to the public hehe. Have a little patience, don't overthink too much. Save it for when we need some real tough feedback on certain matters in development

I don't think post counts counts when you talk in the staff part of the forums.

In summary of mvp's post
@allstaff - can you tell us a little about yourself? And maybe a bit about what you help/will be helping the game with?
Vague things like that are allowed, once you know a little bit, more in-depth and person-specific questions can come later =)

I admit I would like to get to know the staff a bit more myself, and here's why. Even on Fantasy Online whenever I would approach the staff with questions when you guys had nothing to do, I would get ignored constantly, it made me feel like the staff really didn't care, and after a time, I stopped all together. If any of you know me, you should know I'm a highly respectful guy. I rarely ask questions when you guys are busy. I'm a programmer to. I get it, it takes time, and not much you can really say but "I did this, hazzah." So I get why Llama can't really share stuff all the time. A lot of coding is small stuff. And I get a mod's job to. But I mean common. Apart from the normal stuff, only Ari, minche and llama really seems to get involved. I hardly ever see any other, well, Lighterthief maybe, staff get involved.
All I'm asking is to ever so slightly show yourselves.

If you could see the staff threads you would see alot more names than that. The reason I thought this idea was good is because people were asking who the Staff was. This is a way to not only name them but give you a lil bit of a look on who they are what they do and weather they have 10 toes or not.

Aww that hurts =(
Assuming we're only talking about this forum, not all staff are active. And not all are active 'community' sorts of people. However, they do have really good input into various development sides of things.
You might not see them here, but it takes all sorts to get a game going and keep it going, I get why you want to know about the people helping, but don't be too hard on us, I swear we do all care =)
And only some of us are bad peeps (amirite good twin?)
Hopefully these questions will help, does anyone have any specific questions for specific people, aside from a general 'who be you?' At everyone?

Sorry Pink! Forgot about you in-the-moment! My bad >_< We've spoken on occasion. D;
I get that you all have specific roles, why not share those roles? Or what types of jobs you hold outside of the game-development-world-of-llamaness?
It is a good idea. Thing is, I can't really see the staff forums, no matter how hard I don't-actually try to get in them. So I don't really know anything except for some words you show us. I'd like to get involved as much as possible so I know what to-do, and what not-to say to get your gears in a frenzy.
(Ari has four hands, tentacles, twenty toes, and eight eyes. The female version of a creepy Slenderman. That's why I never let you stalk me. D; <3 )

NO ONE FORGETS THE PINK. We most likely will share roles, but they aren't all really...set just now. Some of us are massively into one thing, for example, I only do story wordy stuff because numbers and code hurts my brain. But lots of staff are multi-talented smarty pants I reckon everyone will fall into their 'main' roles as we get further on, but for now nothing is really set. Except llama mr head codey dude and ari head chatterbox. The real-life job thing we can add to the list

I would say that while PC doesn't have a title, she is probably lead story developer. She is probably the main driving force behind getting something solid for the story.

I can easily explain why you were ignored in FO, simply because many mods including me would log into FO and go afk to work. Something we should change in the new game. I for one am for a, for staff, seperation of a moderator and player account for example. But we haven't really gotten in to this subject. But yeah, I hear your complaint and hope to see a better mod/player relationship. Though I think in the end the addition of regular mods/mod chat helped to deal with in-game problems.

Yeah it helped. And it's not "Oh, talk to me all the time" sort of thing. It's honestly, unless you were a billionaire in FO, you hardly ever got to see or talk to any of the mods, share a laugh or other sort of things. (Billionaires were always in the top guilds.) I also know "staff" don't talk. Neither will I ever, ever expect them to. My suggestion is to definitely think about adding people for the "community". PinkCrown and Ari are good examples. But they have to be people that won't deter to the "billionares" or "well-known" specifically, or find "favor" with them (Not that Pink or Ari is doing this, I mean if you recruit more people). Common folk like interaction to!

But I hate peasants Having more obvious 'community' people is probably a good idea though. And/or having a more obvious 'mod mode', maybe so if we are going to be afk we would turn off mod so people don't expect a reply and/or help from us at that time... Something to ponder on anyway.
