Just read the part about the team answering questions the following week so thought I'd write a little list of questions I'd like answered. I'm actually unsure how many "team members" I am addressing with these. {My Questions} -At this time, are there any ideas about an official name?
-In terms of graphics, what can we be expecting?
-Are animations for combat expected to be incorporated in contrast to FO where animations were non-existent?
-Will the combat system be more of a lay back and watch or will it be more interactive?
-Are there any plans to incorporate high scores (or a high score like system) on the website?
-How does the forum-based team plan to attract players who strictly play the game?
-Are player suggestions actually being considered? Have any been accepted? (as in there were no plans for this feature until the suggestion was read)
-Is there any mention of what features / items can be bought through real money?
-What are your thoughts on Class vs Skill points?
-Will PvP be a big feature in the original game or is it currently planned as a minor future release?
-Are all the staff a part of the game creation process? In what ways?
-Will dragons be implemented into the game?
-There are a lot of thoughts of mounts being thrown around. Is this a viable travel option that is being looked into?
-Are there any present thoughts on how the current map will be lain out?
-Will video editors be able to upload game play of this upcoming game in an appealing manner or will the game play look dull?
-Is media being considered (seeing how Day-Z became a thriving success due to Youtube alone)?
-Any suggestions for users who would like to get more active in the creation of this new game?

I will see about getting these answered... but it's more of an interview of the staff... this way people can know who is classified as staff since some are still confused...

Just at a guess, I would say that it's too far in advance to answer most of those questions. A lot of that stuff will be approached much later!!

Just at a guess, I would say that it's too far in advance to answer most of those questions. A lot of that stuff will be approached much later!! I agree. I didn't actually know who I was addressing and who would be answering the questions so I just wrote a lot of general thoughts down that were not "too" specific. I assumed I would not be asking staff members about their personal lives as that shares no relevance to this forum or the concept. Even so, that was actually the case and frankly, I don't see the significance that would provide as most of them do not post at all. Since it has not been publicized, here is a current list of staff that you can (apparently) address any questions to: StaffSo here is a new list of questions that I would like to address to any staff member willing to answer. A few of these are addressed to specific people in their designated field. {Spoiler}To specific people -@ari as community manager, what are your thoughts on the current suggestion pool being offered by the community?
To any staff member -I noticed many staff have low post count but have been on recently. Why do many staff just visit the forum instead of taking part in the action?
-How have you personally been involved with the game creation process at this time?
-What skills do you bring to the "Llamaquest" staff team?
Personally, I think it would be interesting if each staff member supplied a quick paragraph on themselves.

The idea of the staff questions was to give people a little insight to who we are. Really we are at such an early point that there needs to be some filler to pad the posts or else they all just end up being "staff is talking about stoof and llama is doing the codez". Right now it really is un-interesting unless you get into the nitty gritty which isn't even that interesting yet. "woohoo, I wrote a class that swaps frames from a spritesheet. such skill".
I brought up the idea as something to do until we get to a point that interesting stuff happens and my suggestion was to go one of two ways. Make a list of questions and ask one staffer at a time or pick one or two questions and ask every staffer to get different responses.

My point was more that while it is cool, how much detail can you go into to say "I can swap sprites in an animation" without sharing the class. List the specific methods that no one but I will see? Ok, there is a stop and a play method. Now what?
