Although I'd like to support games I can not, but even as not being a spender on a game I still enjoy a premium currency, I'd really like to see the gem-to-coin type of currency transition that could happen through the market in FO, one thing I enjoyed about that game is I could just play it a crap load more then other people and get premium items without spending

One thing they reported having was the ability to trade premium currency. There is a catch though. You must have membership. Membership is obtained by either purchasing premium currency (to have something to trade) or sign up within the first year of the game's release to become part of the "member community". You will need a computer to claim this membership so keep that in mind. After the first year, membership will be replaced with what they are calling "membership". You can obtain this membership by signing up free of charge every other month. The months in between will not give access to this premium feature, however, you will still get membership. It is a very exclusive system they have implemented in their new game. A lot of people do not like it due to the fact they have to register for the game to create an account. There is a way around this that many people are planning to exploit. Minche confirmed that you can send 5 red skittles to have llama create your account for you. Ari then came out claiming all you had to do was "stalk the llama" to get an account created. This whole system is very complex and intricate. It will take a lot of getting used to. But.. as llama always says, "bring a lLama to a waterpark and ɥɔʇɐʍ him spl4sh r0und just cuz." If you take his philosophy to heart, you can see you can just about achieve anything your dreams desire. I guess what I'm trying to say is, pick a flower, then put the seed back in the ground because you just killed a living being what is wrong with you? then give that flower to a girl and ask her to be your valentine. I believe in you

I believe in you Stop trolling the poor kid Sure, a simple "yes" would suffice in a question like this. I could easily type the 3 letters and hit post. Instead, I decided to type something fun and comical that you could have a nice time reading. The post is structured in a slope-like fashion, increasing in aimlessness. If you do not like to have a laugh every once in a while, then I pity you. I really do. I suggest having a little more fun and enjoying the world around you. It is a beautiful world when you stop and glance at the dome that surrounds your life. Not everybody out there has intentions of "trolling" in their words. If you find this post in any way "trolling" then indeed you must have some serious issues you need to work out as the internet is not the only play to socialize in a comedic and sarcastic manner. To appease your reaction to my post, It is rumored that this game will have non-premium to premium currency exchange strictly between players as FO did it. Do not expect the game to allow you to exchange money for premium currency via an NPC. I just hope this post does not offend anyone as my previous post seemed to accomplish.

He asked a legitimate question and instead of being constructive and offering insight, you purposefully posted to misguide and frustrate someone who actually cares about the new game, and in case you haven't noticed, said game is going to need as much support as it can get.
I know how to laugh. I just like to do it when something is actually funny.
btw sounds like you were trolling to me.
"In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion."

Yes we want to have it so that you can gain premium currency without paying real money.

PC, kinda like you could buy gems from the market in fo? Like that yes. I don't know if we'll do it via notes like in FO, or maybe something like how Spiral Knights does it with an npc that you can buy and sell the currency at, or something completely different; it's something we need to talk about a bit more once we get to that point.

kire72 Lol x) I get lost easily too ~-~ and WHERE IS THE SHINIES?! Er ma gerd. PinkCrown I was curious as to the Premium currency bundles that FO used to have, such as when you spent $50 you got certain premium items along with your gems. Will there still be a concept such as that? Thank you for your time.

There will likely be something along those lines, but we are trying to make that kind of stuff be cosmetic only (or really mostly).

I see, thanks for your reply. In the case of cosmetics only, I'm not sure if this would encourage buyers, as they'd go more toward the stats over the looks, just simply my opinion though.

I personally would rather not have the best items in game be pay only. Just my preference. Items in the packs would probably be cosmetic or same (maybe slightly better, but like 2-3% increase) stats as stuff that might be hard to get in game. So people who don't/can't pay will still be able to just work hard and get something similar.

I understand, best gear or very close to best should be obtainable for everyone in some way. Thanks for clearing that up.

Items we had in FO gem packs wasn't that bad of an idea IMO, but the 800 or more Gems crap to buy on shop to get the best stuff wasn't good AT ALL.
