The title says everything. For example, you have, lets say, some wings that you don't like. But you need them because it gives some stats. At this point, you can ”hide” the wings and them will not be visible on your character. The stats will be gained of course. What do you guys think about it?

I think they will just have equipment slots for stats and outfit slots for the look of an item.
So if you want to wear your wings with stats then don't put anything in the outfit slot for wings.
Just my opinion though.

Just my opinion though. But what if you don't have the outfit item for that part? Do you HAVE to have your stats lowered because you can't hide the ugly wings? I think not. Just make a few "Hide X slot" buttons in the game settings or something.

Erm, I guess so.
I'm just more worried about stats, I'll look ugly if it keeps me alive till I can get better looking wings. I don't think a hide option is really necessary, more of a luxury to have, but sure I wouldn't really mind.

Or we can just have nude parts like in FO maybe? We can have that too, but buttons to hide/show combat gear would be a nice addition.

I definitely want outfits like in FO, but I think it got a little excessive with outfit weapons and offhands. It was a really disturbing and somewhat dissatisfying feeling to see someone grinding xbows with a pointy stick and so forth. I don't think people should be able to trick others by appearances. Outfits were fine since everyone knew they didn't offer bonuses, but the weapons and offhands were like if someone wore divine templar armor but had dragon vigilante armor on as an outfit. It completely throws people off, and for me makes me feel stangely cheated.

I dont like the idea of hiding equipment, we're epic warriors not fashion models, it takes away from the fantasy becouse a bunch of op bordies running around in their diaper one shotting the map isn't my visual fantasy. I would say even outfits should come off(battle gear up when in mob maps assuming city maps wont have mobs, but then they wont sell many outfits so probly not gonna happen.

I dont like the idea of hiding equipment, we're epic warriors not fashion models But, you're ignoring the people who actually like their avatar to look good while still having decent equipment that just doesn't go together.
What if the best helm is like a golden paladin helm or something, and the best armor is like, an undead mage armor. Doesn't fit. Or you have a cape that stands out too much from the rest of your gear, yet you can't hide it.
Some people like being "fashion models" in games.it takes away from the fantasy becouse a bunch of op bordies running around in their diaper one shotting the map isn't my visual fantasy. Well, that's just them being a-hats, pretending to be noobs and all. I would say even outfits should come off(battle gear up when in mob maps assuming city maps wont have mobs, but then they wont sell many outfits so probly not gonna happen. Outfits are a good coin sink, and if they're bought with premium currency, the "fashion" players will pay, which is good.Comments in bold
