Hi! I know i'm late, but I have some suggestions.
First are the PVP Modes. I thinked at Capture The Flag, Deathmatch, Team vs Team and a ”Monster” vs All. The Monster vs All is a mode with one player which is the monster and the rest of the players will need to cooperate to kill the monster. if the monster kills a player that player will be monster aswell.
2nd ideea is the Happiness. For example, if you lost a battle, or for example, if you will introduce fishing or mining and you don't get anything the hapiness will decrease.If your hapiness is at 0, you can't do Pvp battles and/or mine, etc.
3rd ideea is other actions such as fishing, mining etc. If you want to do for example fishing, you will need a fishing rod. You can craft or buy it. All the fishing rods will have a ”bait” power. For example if you have a fishing rod with 100% bait power, you will catch a fish every time. The same goes to the mining with the pickaxes.
4th ideea is about the trading system. All objects will have a value. For example. An Iron Sword has 50 value. A stick has 1 value. To trade the sticks for the Iron Sword you will need 50 sticks. Of course you can trade with money, but this is a little bit complexe.
I don't speak fluently english, so if you see any gramatical mistakes ignore them <.<

1 - Don't see it in this game, although it could be fun. 'Monster vs. all' doesn't need it's own pvp mode
2 - This is what annoys me in a lot of games. In FO there used to be a 'rest' system, like a rest meter that slightly decreases as you play and restores while you're not playing. If you was tired, you got little exp and money. Glad they got rid of it. It is just useless and not fun, having to wait to be able to do more monotone stuff.
3 - They are planning such things (I suppose?) But bait power is completely ridiculous (just get a 100% pickaxe and grind for metals? The tool should only improve the chance and speed of the activity, not just determine them)
4 - Trading should be performed by players (S> Iron sword for 50 sticks). As for npcs, just convert everything into money and back. Nothing complex. I suggest money for players too, as such trades would be strange.
And btw, what do you mean by 'being late'?

probably that he registered today welcome! well about PvP, it's been suggested a lot but it might be added way later in the game. PvP is much harder to balance and make fun and worthwhile and as that there hasn't been much that's decided on it about item, there's some ideas to have enchanted items and various item mods happiness, well you'd need to find something good about having happiness, not just take away something if your happiness is zero. plus it might be restricting and a name doesnt suggest it should be used as a rest system so that's confusing too. when you say happiness points my first thought is some sort of random points that you get for doing stuff in game and that's it and for trading, it's hard to set a fixed value for all items. if you're trading with players I'm sure you'll be able to trade items for other items (not just coins) so it would be pretty limiting and anti-trading to have fixed values for everything
