I really dislike it when games allow pvp everywhere. People will eventually go to noob areas and kill them all making the game very noob unfriendly. I guarantee there will be at least a few noob areas that are pvp free. I still have to decide (and probably won't until we get there) how the pvp will work.

Make the first areas in the game Safe and higher level required areas pvp zones lets say up to level "20" are you allowed to enter areas with pvp zones by this time you should be high enough leveled to defend against other people.

Yea, I don't know if the pvp is going to be based on area or level yet. Also, in higher level areas, I don't know if some areas will be pvp free or whether all areas will be pvp, but there are OP npc guards (cats of justice?) that attack the aggressor if nearby. Also, pvp might be toggle-able. Or maybe even, instead of killing, it is a duel system where you have to request a duel from someone. No idea yet. All are possible and really I might end up adding more than one for testing and decide which is most fun.

that being said llama you made me think into and if there is going to be this in depth(and if its even possible by you game making gods) pvp there should be a pvp mode like the persons name turns from what ever the standard name color is to red to show that theyre pvp or dont want to pvp so the OP higher levels cant just demolish them and make the game unfair and unfun for them but i get what your saying

I think it'd be cool if there were PVP zones, where if a guild gets like 100 kills or whatever, they get the guild bonus for the zone. It'd make much more sense than spamming a PVP tower and being able to tell time.

I would absolutely love if the PvP system were simliar to Cloudstone, I'm not sure if any of you all have ever played it. Essentially you would be able to fight other characters that people have made, but not actually fighting against them, but A.I instead and at every fight you participated in you would use up what were known as "vigor" points, and once you ran out of these points.. you could either wait 24 hours to gain your points back and fight again, or you could purchase premium currency to refill your points immedietly and fight again.
For example,
You choose your opponent, and then you fight each other. Opponents can be a maximum of 10 levels above or below your level, and are randomly generated from all the Cloudstone players.
You control yourself, obviously. Your opponent will be controlled by the game (i.e. you are not actually fighting another human).
The first player to win 2 rounds wins the fight.
Each round has a time limit of 5 minutes. If the timer runs out, you automatically lose.
From these PvP sessions, not only could it be a interesting way to support the game directly but we could include leagues to make PvP alot more fun. At the start of each season, leagues could be randomly generated from the entire group of players. You may see some familiar faces in your league but you may also be in a league with players you've never met.
You can advance in your PvP league by defeating other players. The amount of league points any given match is worth is displayed when choosing your opponent and is calculated using your opponent's and your own league points. The players you can challenge are selected from all of users (and so may or may not be one of your Allies or even in your league).
Each PvP season is scheduled to last 2 weeks. At the end of the season, the top 10 players in each league will earn special rewards. Players who manage to remain at the top of their league leaderboard or the global leaderboard at the end of a season are given a special reward. For league rewards, those who ranked in the top three can choose from a set of prizes. Those ranked 4-10 receive Rubies (or some type of currency). In addition, to allow players who end up in highly competitive leagues a fair chance at getting good prizes, those who place in the top 15 of the global leaderboard automatically get the 1st place prize (overriding any other season prizes they might have otherwise have won). Prizes appear in the form of chests obtaining rare items or something similar.

i'd like to follow the pvp system in which the areas, of the game i am actually playing has, where you get to choose either pvp mode or non pvp, and areas like world boss rooms and dungeon boss rooms are pvp by default.
In regards to the zone bonus, it should be that an event puts the dominance of an area as reward for the winning guild, giving bonus to them.
