I was just curious if you would be releasing a beta lobby type thing so people can test the engine, find bugs, and just hang out in general.

There will be an alpha and beta release. I believe the alpha is confined strictly to staff and the beta will be released to active forum users. These releases may be publicly released but as of right now, this is the information we (regular users) have been shared. As of the right now, this release is targeted for a late june release. If you have been keeping overwatch on the forums, the current map looks something like this: (Taken from the week 13 update) Art director, Lighterthief has been creating tiles for the map but we have yet to see an updated version of the map if it is even in progress. A video release (hopefully coming this sunday (week 18)) will show off simple yet crucial functions of the game such as walking. These seem like meager accomplishments to somebody who has played completed games all their life but I assure this is an immense milestone for the team. One thing I have been stressing about is the fact that there is no reported professional game testers on this site. For that reason, I have reason to believe this "beta" will be more of a funhouse rather than the intended bug search and destroy standard. I highly encourage anybody taking part in this future beta to please keep a detailed list of any and all bugs found on the game and report it to the team as soon as possible. As for the engine, I'm sure unity engine will be able to handle the game with all its revolutionary features and life-like graphics. If you do not believe anything I am saying on here or do not trust my information due to the lack of authority since I am not staff; please wait until one of the team members (which will most likely be Iamallama) to reply on this post. Have a nice day.

Pretty close. The plan for end of June is probably the funhouse. It will be an Alpha release with probably nothing and just some basics. Walking, basic chat. I'll be adding new stuff in daily that will allow the staff/team start jamming in content and it should go quickly after that. We'll probably have staff only for a little bit and slowly start inviting supporters and key users which will expand to a closed beta -> open beta -> etc.
