Instead of having carbon copys of the same items there could be a item per'say a dagger and when it drops it can have a variable amount of damage that it could do and all the daggers are different minimum damage and maximum damage making it so there is a certain market for daggers instead of what a lot of games do which is have the same weapon coming out almost like almost copied and pasted this would also make it so there will be the objective of getting the best of the best (or the worst of the worst) also making more senoir players work hard to get a weopon that fits their play style (just a thing to think about lator on once the game is in alpha or late alpha)

I'm not sure about items dropping with random variable damage etc, but things like enchantments which would then add bonuses or even negative effects onto weapons and items is something we will probably chat about when we get to that point.

That's the idea behind item rarity. It has been suggested by people and me. There would (most likely) still be common items/weapons that have the same stats.
