i was thinking, normal mobs can have 1% to drop 5 gem note like the daily gift system where you can get different rewards and for bosses a 5% chance of gem note drop ;D let me know whatcha think.

how about .001 chance of 1 gem on a regular mob and .005 chance on a boss
your system only works if every mob is OP or you need like 1000 gems to buy crap armor

We won't be using gems as this is a completely seperate game from FO. But we will certainly consider some "free" ways to obtain premium currency.

While I don't mind something like this, the more gems you give away the less value they have due to inflation.

theirs a point there :/ and people wouldnt be buying them when knowing they can farm it, plus the the game owner wouldnt make any profit :/
