LT. side motion movements look better but the forward arm motion looks too forward, and possibly too exagerated. the front shots still look like sprinting but glad to see you shrunk his loin cloth, though from behind his butt cheeks wobble a lot Thanks for the input The back is altogether a bit wobbly hehe. Still tweaking it till I'm satisfied.

Although mvp has a point, some people will like it and some will not, that's life.
There are names however that simply draw people in just by name alone, it's because the words help them to visualize the game in their head.
For example FF, when I hear the name Final Fantasy, what comes to mind is a fantasy to end all fantasies. To me even if I had not played that game it would just sound amazing itself.
If we could however implement certain words we all could really agree on that put an amazing thought or visualization in a person's mind, then I would call that a win. As much I like the name Llama Quest, the first thing that comes into my head is more humorous and cute than amazing or fascinating.
There are other games I don't even like but I respect their names alone because they seem flawless, such as Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Defense of the Ancients. (DoTA)
So maybe we could keep the Llama part but really think about how to make the title sound like something you'd want to dream about and really experience.
Just my thoughts, thanks.

Any name without context is just a name. You add value to a name through your experience, advertisement and legacy.
LlamaQuest sounds adventurous, rpg like, that doesn't take itself too serious. Which is exactly what we aim for.

Which is exactly what we aim for. I understand your reasons behind it and I respect them. I just want the best for the game we will be enjoying together. The name does sound rpg-like simply because of the word quest, then you have Llama in the front which altogether kind of translates over to a quest that cannot be taken seriously. That's kinda the way a lot of people would interpret it. Not to be rude or anything, but is there a way we could generalize their interpretation into something.. simple, yet humorous and not too bland? The title Fantasy Online may be generic, but I thought in my head of a fantasy world to experience with others, generic or not it still sounded great Here are just a few examples although I suck at names. Heart of Llama Legend of Llama League of Llamas (LoL I actually laughed) Llama's Grim Lord of Llama Guild of Llama Llama's Castle Llama Fantasy Just some suggestions, thanks.

Yeah if that's what you aimed for, success. :/ EDIT: I guess I'm just overthinking what else the title could be.

well I can see where you're coming from also, it is all subjective, so I don't want to feel like I'm 'defending' the name anymore. for example, you say you like name Final Fantasy. it never appealed to me for example, because it tells me nothing, and because its never final! it's called final fantasy, why is there 14 of them?

You're right, it's like NeverEnding fantasy. I guess it just seemed to be a hit and the name stuck, or they could be the very last name in fantasy. Meaning their fantasy stories are so highly known that they are the end to all ends or something like that.
I suppose the longer the name is around the more it makes sense and sticks with everyone, so maybe everything will work out just fine.

also, if tell people about new game called Llama Quest you're gonna get blank looks. but if you'd show them a nice pixely logo/banner, with some description text or something to make it clear that it's a 'retro' style browser MMORPG then you'd get a different reaction. thats the case with many games, like what does Bioshock even mean? Legend of Zelda? Half Life? and so on. With a lot of games you already know the story so it's easier to associate it with the name. seems to me for now the name is having the expected effect - rpg, not serious. the blanks will be filled in later

Yeah that's completely true, some sort of logo or graphic design along with the name would really bring interest and fascination to the game.
Also I love Legend of Zelda games and the second Bioshock. (especially the artwork style for Bioshock 1 and 2)

"LlamaQuest" "An adventurous quest that awaits you, a warrior of the llama. Tune in now on 'folegacy.boards.net'."
"LlamaQuest" "Adventures that will lead you far across the LlamaLands. Tune in now on 'folegacy.boards.net'."
"LlamaQuest" "Just Llamas, Llamas everywhere."
"LlamaQuest" "Experience quests and adventures beyond your mind. A Llama filled RPG awaits you. Tune in now on 'folegacy.boards.net'."
Busted up a few small ads because I was feeling bored.

When I play a game I enjoy memorable and emotional moments. Also fights that simply leave me thinking.. that was badass. I enjoy peaceful and calming moments after the storm of war.
I really need some reassurance here.. I don't want this game be a joke.
In fact I'd love for the title to let people think it's a joke, but when they play the game they simply find out it's nothing like they thought it would be, instead it is so much more than they could have ever thought.
I enjoy jokes once in awhile but.. in a game when there is too much humor it's very off putting and just makes me feel depressed.
It's just that the more I hear the title.. I think to myself "please be amazing and not a complete joke". I hope someone understands this post, thanks.
