Development on the game went slow this week. I am still working on the character create screen trying to find a way to allow character customization without creating a separate sprite for every little thing like hair color or skin shade. I got the production game server ordered and setup. I spent last weekend and a few days this week getting everything setup like the server software installed and updated. My current schedule is:
- Throw something together for the character create screen. I've just really been doing research and tests with recolors and tinting, but I'll probably put that on hold and fix it to generate a character account on the server and then go back to the character select screen.
- Continue on the character select screen and add change to game screen when click on character.
- Then create main game screen and start on the basics with that.
- Display character in center of screen.
- Load and display other characters on screen.
- Load and display map based on player's current location.
- Click to move and check updating on everyone else's screen.
That's my list for the next week or two.[/quote]

Internally we are debating whether or not we should continue in the current style or simplify it. Currently we are leaning towards continuing the style (more details on that later). Right now I am preparing a simple ps3k file players could download so they can give the new style a try and see if it's really that challenging. So stay tuned for that in the coming week(had an exhibition so i was preoccupied all weekend or I would've done it already). In the meantime here is a quick example of a few dresses I did which was to show the new style isn't necessarily more difficult than the previous. I'll go over it in more depth in the next few days in a separated thread. As a time indication the two dresses, the one in the middle and the right, were made in about 30-45 min. Not a conclusive indication as its just a front view, though in my experience the rest of the frames go relatively quick once you got the front view done. Anyway, as said, just an indication. Also worth mentioning I changed the posture of the girl slightly and upped the saturation(hopefully less muddy colors).

Meet the Staff:
FrozenSoviet
Name/Additional Nicknames -
Frosty, Ruski, Sov
What I did in FO -
I mostly derped around doing general modwork (like chat modding), I also wrote a few quests for IU and did a lot of gameplay suggestions/tweaks, such as working on the IU bosses numberwise.
What I do/will be doing/would like to do for Llamaquest -
I hope to focus most on is gameplay mechanics, stats, character abilities, all the numbery stuff like that, while also helping out in general with everything else wherever help is needed (particularly storyline / quest stuff).
What I do in real life -
Currently I'm in university, studying electrical engineering and computer science.
Favourite Game -
This one is tough, as I have loved a lot of games over the years. I would have to say FFVI.
Bamboozle
Name/Additional Nicknames -
Bamboozle/Bam/Bamb/pear man
What I did in FO -
Primarily quest writing and moderating. I did redo the Help box/made a large FAQ with the help of a few others, and dabbled in support cases here and there.
What I do/will be doing/would like to do for Llamaquest -
Hopefully the same as above, if not more. I feel idea brainstorming, lore and writing are strong suits that I can try to contribute to LQ, and I would like to help out with player support/service more than I did in FO.
What I do in real life -
Right now I'm a student, laboring away the hours in Oregon. When I'm not drooling on a desk, I tend to play League of Legends quite a bit. (As in, several hours per day)
Favourite Game -
This is a hard one, since there have been so many amazing titles out there. I'll answer with a list: Advance Wars, Civilization IV, Age of Empires II, TES IV: Oblivion, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and League of Legends.
However, if it were not for a certain MMORPG known as Fantasy Online, I would never have fully gotten into the genre and I wouldn't have met the wonderful group of folks assembled here to carry on its legacy. So I'll say FO was the most influential game to me in the long run.

What I did in FO
Did usual mod things such as moderating chat, handing out the occasional ban hammer. Made a few items for the game.
What I do/will be doing/would like to do for Llamaquest
Mostly the same thing, cracking heads and taking names.
What I do in real life
I'm majoring in Electrical Mechanical Engineering Technology at RIT here in NY. I enjoy target shooting, started picking up blacksmithing, and love to learn different programming languages in class.
Bracelet I made a couple weeks ago, it looks crooked but that's because one end of the bracelet is bent towards the camera and the other end bent away.
Favourite Game
Gamecube game
- Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2
I got hooked on this game from the moment I saw it, I don't play it as much as I used to cause it is much more fun playing with other people than by yourself. This game is one of the games that lead me to find FO.
Xbox 360 game
- Borderlands 1 & 2
Love going around with my buddy Scott going off the maps and launching way out to where no one can go.
PC browser game
- FO
Needs no explanation
- Astroflux
Our grand Calarooni got me started on this a while back, I like it quite a bit, had a setback where my game wouldn't load for almost 2 months but that has been resolved and hop on to play when I can.
