They say that this will not be a FO V2, but I believe it's going to be a pixelated game, but they will use bigger sprites.

It *is* a little too early. We don't have anything finalized yet as we are still in discussion on how the gameplay will work. I will say that it will have its own story, a different look and different gameplay mechanics. This is NOT FO2 but a different game that just happens to be made from the staff of FO. So there will likely be some references. We are trying to find a balance right now between something simple like FO with maybe a little more structure (but not too much).

As long as there is something along the lines of outfit creation, I'm in.

Archangel I have said before that the spritesheets are going to be much more complicated and so it might be a little bit before user created content makes it in game. FO used only 12 sprites for all of its animations, 3 sprites for the walking animation in 4 different directions. I have yet to see a finished spritesheet, so this could change, but we are looking at around 30 sprites per sheet. Which for any custom content, all would need to be filled in.

I'm completely aware that it might be a little more complicated to make a sprite sheet. However, my post stated the simple making of a sprite, not about the difficulty in making one. So as long as we are able TO submit content, the hardness does not matter to me. I'm more than willing to leap over any hurdle to make something.

It's not at the point where we can really say yes or no to content creation yet. As llama pointed out, the sprite sheets are going to be considerably more art-intensive than the FO style. And FO had a bunch of issues with the varying styles clashing, so we would still need to look at a way to control that. And that's the sort of discussion that comes after all of the bajillion other things that need decided on to actually start making the game, like the base mechanics and the story. Safe to say, if it's possible, it will be done, we all enjoyed that part of FO. But right now, we just don't know. We'll get there, and you'll all know it when we do

I think that player artwork should only be allowed on special occasions, or by buying many "virtual currency", a bit like the SSC system there was in FO.

Will you guy's post this game on kong, steam or just a web browser? This is still under discussion. It's currently up in the air, because steam has a massive user-base and has their lovely greenlight, so limiting the game to browser-only could end up being the death of it. Once the codey peeps have come to a decision on what works best, we'll let you know. Hopefully we can get the best of both worlds
